First Aid at Work is a three day course that is proactive with ongoing assessment. This course covers many aspects of First Aid and life support techniques for Adult – Child – Baby.
It will cover how to deal with wounds and bleeding and includes many treatments and explanations of various conditions which may require First Aid intervention.
AED training can be an extension to our First Aid courses. It is suitable for a anyone who currently is First Aid trained and is competant in CPR.
The standalone course uses up to date First Aid practises. Our training is on a generic AED machine so that you can be confident using an AED machine if you should need to. The certification lasts for 1 year.
This course presents a basic understanding of how the body works and to help identify potential problems and emergencies and what action can you can take to help until more qualified help arrives. Priorities of casualty management will teach you how to respond if someone stops breathing.
This course includes training on:
How to deal with choking if your child or toddler puts things in their mouths.
How to perform Child and Infant CPR techniques.
This course is less intense than the 3 day course and lasts for 1 day. It covers the same material but in a lesser depth.
This course is proactive with ongoing assessments. Assessment has both practical and question and answer elements. The course certificate lasts for 3 years.
